Each year FOMU (Museum for Photography Antwerp (BE)) selects ten promising photographers who live or work in Belgium. FOMU takes them on a one-year trajectory, consisting of feedback and networking opportunities, a publication in FOMU's portfolio magazine .tiff and a group exhibition in the museum. Like "Belgian Photography," .tiff cannot be categorized under one heading. The magazine is a sample of the diversity and dynamics of the photographic landscape in Belgium. With .tiff, FOMU gives up-and-coming talent a platform towards a wider audience and network. .tiff magazine is a portfolio magazine that appears on an annual basis and in which ten artists present their work in the form of a poster. The compilation - the poster magazine .tiff - is more than the sum of its parts: it becomes a small-scale exhibition on paper. An exhibition that can be taken apart, unfolded, flipped over, and rearranged so that the reader can decide how the images relate to each other.
