In 2006 artist Jesse Jones was commissioned by the Fire Station Artists' Studios in partnership with Dublin Docklands Development Authority to produce 12 Angry Films. The commission culminated in a site-specific event, a temporary drive-in cinema. Through re-staging and re-appropriating of the 'drive-in', the artist Jesse Jones created a collective social and political space.
