Marseille's engagement with its port is unending, there is a wealth of urban intertextuality between the different scales and networks built up along the shoreline, and on the water, to meet shipping needs. This relationship between ships and cities has long been the object of reflection in the realms of both history and reflection. Here several groups of students embark on an on-site investigation of Marseille's maritime facade.
