The quarterly magazine is the flagship of the various activities of the Museum of Contemporary Art Antwerp (MuHKA). AS aims to be a platform and laboratory for the development of a critical discourse on the premises, concepts, products and projects of contemporary visual culture. in the broadest sense of the word. AS thus covers not only the traditional field of film, video television and the visual arts, but also the broad range of visual, technologies and imaging that enable the imagination of society as a whole. AS is the continuation of: Andere Sinema (1978 - 1999).
