During the summer of 1995 Jan Rothuizen was invited to participate in a residence program in the woods of Maine to work for a period of three months. He decided to stay in America and rented a studio in New York. This book is the result of walking and wandering endlessly through the streets, a way to put all the drawings, photos, objects, paintings, and texts side-by-side so together they resemble a street or even a city that you can wander through.
