The Czech-Dutch artist Thomas Rajlich, was already in the 1970s one of the main European exponents of the so-called 'analytic painting' or 'fundamental painting' current. Rajlich's art is neither mystical nor metaphysical, but nevertheless is characterised by a strong cognitive and emotional tension. It is the expression of an art that wishes to be a witness of an ethical drive. This book presents 27 paintings from 1969 to 2008.
