This book is published on the occasion of the exhibition ' Yves Klein: Air Architecture' at the MAK Center for Art and Architecture, Los Angeles, May 13-August 29, 2004. The French artist Yves Klein produced a body of work concerning the concept of air architecture - an immaterial architecture. From 1957-1962, Klein developed 'Air Architecture', a visionairy project of living environments designed to reconnect people with the Earth and its elements.
