René Heyvaert (1929-1984) was a succesful architect who became an artist. He began to dream openly of modular systems and spaces without right angles. Spaces that continually changed. He fond these spaces not in architecture but in the fine arts. The form of his work was always simple and he mostly used found objects which in a process of transformation became works of art.
