Intruders is the result of an ethnological museum' s invitation to a group of artist to intervene in its gardens, its displays and even its vast collection. Intruders is part of The Garden of Eden project. The project was commissioned by the National Museum of Ethnology and the Government Building Agency of The Netherlands on the occasion of the renovation of the National Museum of Ethnology in Leiden. The project came about in close cooperation with SKOR (Stichting Kunst en Openbare Ruimte).
