Not A Cornfield began April 20, 2005 and continued to May 23, 2006, on 32 acres of land located between Lincoln Heights and Chinatown, in Los Angeles. The nickname for this part of town is Cornfield, and the artist Lauren Bon revitalised the wasteland that it had become, cleaned, fed and irrigated the site, and raised a lush field of corn.
