Comprehensive work on the development and maintenance of the park on the grounds of the Zollverein UNESCO World Heritage Site. Designers, lighting planners, artists and landscape architects from Bonn, Cologne, Rotterdam and Oberhausen came together at the time to win the Europe-wide competition for the construction of the park at the Zollverein colliery and coking plant. Since 2005, they have been planning the Zollverein Park on behalf of the Zollverein development company, later the Zollverein Foundation. In the book, the designers, planners and artists take a tour of the Zollverein Park and tell stories about the visible and invisible at selected locations, how they created the park and where there are special things to discover.
