Pamphlet Architecture was begun in 1977 by William Stout and Steven Holl as an independent vehicle for dialogue among architects, and has become a popular venue for publishing the works and thoughts of a younger generation of architects. This manual records the results of five years of experimental research undertaken at K / K R&D. Primarily Mosquitoes is about what life in our known world would be like if certain groups of people left main cities and started up their own towns/cities, which they refer to as 'Renegade Cities'. The book dives straight into this weird conceptual architectural world that thrives on covert, paranoid and isolationist behaviour in order to assure its survival.
