Public Arena was commissioned under South Dublin County Council's 'In Context 3 Per Cent for Art Programme'. Public Arena consists of this publication, a film made in collaboration with students of Tallaght Community School, a neon work with the Thomas Davis club motto, and an event in Tallaght Stadium. The controversial history over the use of this stadium created a focus on a public space of shared interest. This history should not just be erased.
